“We’re not a surf brand. We’re the ones inland, watching the swell from afar and still feeling its pull.
A mark for the calm between land and sea, the slow side of Aljezur.”
aljzr. is new. Two essentials to start with — a cap and a tee. Made slowly, worn slowly, until the salt gets into them.
Aljezur sits on Portugal’s southwest coast, where the last hills roll into the Atlantic. Most people come for the waves. We stayed for everything else — the cork oaks, the sheep, the sweet potatoes, the slow afternoons where nothing happens twice.
aljzr. is a small mark for that side of town. The inland side. The one that watches the swell from a distance and still feels its pull, but won’t fight anyone for a parking spot at the beach.
We make a few things, carefully, and we’d rather make them right than make them fast. First come, first surf — everyone else, welcome to the slow side.
